Situated in a peaceful part of town a short walk from Princes Park, Havilah's Harkness Site offers spacious living, natural light and award-winning gardens. There are only minor room differences within this room type which are situated in Melaleuca House. All thirteen rooms in Melaleuca House are at mezzanine level and are single occupancy with ensuite. Four of the rooms are interconnecting suitable for couples. The mezzanine level is accessed via lift, stairs or ramp. All but two of the interconnecting rooms have direct access to either the internal courtyard or veranda. The rooms have individual airconditioning. All of the quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings are maintained to a very high standard. Havilah is a very safe facility and has many measures in place to stop the spread of fire and smoke and to provide for safe evacuation in the case of a fire ? this includes fire and smoke compartments, and sprinklers and smoke alarms.
