We have three (3) of these Single Rooms, although somewhat smaller in size they do have private ensuites. They are in very good condition. Each Room has a excellent lighting, views onto central courtyard and built in wardrobes. These rooms are very private, comfortable and have excellent access to all areas and all the necessary equipment for you care, comfort and safety. All rooms are fitted with a Nurse Call Bell system and modern hospital style furnishings. Standard Single Rooms are our smallest rooms but they are warm and comfortable.

We have two (2) of these Standard Shared Rooms, they are Hospital Ward style with curtain tracking for privacy and a shared toilet and wash area. Immediately across the hallway is a shared bath and separate shower. These rooms are ideal for a couples of those that are comfortable sharing and socialising. They are in good condition. Each Room has a excellent lighting, views onto our gardens and built in wardrobes. These rooms are comfortable and have excellent access to all areas and all the necessary equipment for you care, comfort and safety. All rooms are fitted with a Nurse Call Bell system and modern hospital style furnishings. These Shared Rooms are some of our larger rooms.

Melaleuca is a community owned and operated, not for profit facility offering high care residential services.
We are a small (48 bed) family oriented facility offering a relaxed and inclusive home environment with highly trained professional and caring staff. We provide 24 hour nursing care, onsite catering cooking home style meals.

Melaleuca is situated in the East Devonport community. We overlook the Wetlands (to the South) where wildlife and birds abound. To our East is the Devonport Recreation Centre and the Football Oval along with sweeping views to farmlands beyond.

We are surrounded by beautiful gardens and open space with (wheelchair safe) footpaths around the facility for strolls amongst the gardens. We have 4 internal courtyards with raised garden beds for any "budding" gardening enthusiasts.

Melaleuca has also has a LARGE Mural Courtyard that is a great venue for lazing in a sun-filled garden whilst enjoying large murals that were painted by a local artist
