At Sheridan we are remarkably customer focused and resident wellbeing is at the heart of everything that we do. Sheridan provides ongoing care and support to residents, from our local community and beyond. We promise to offer high quality care to all types of people, including those requiring government financial assistance. Sheridan is a new, modern facility with refurbishments having recently been completed. Our secure dementia specific Western Wing comprises 12 spacious 15.38m2 rooms to provide specialised dementia care in a secure and monitored environment. Residents can enjoy their own single room with a large private ensuite which has been designed to accommodate wheelchair access. Sheridan is a 42 high care bed residence for both permanent and respite care and includes a 12 bed dementia specific unit. On admission to Sheridan we meet with you and your family to gain an understanding of your individual needs, this includes favourite foods, fashion and even the football team they support. Sheridan maintains close links with the local community and encourages residents to be involved in community activities. Family and friends play an integral part of Sheridan with monthly meetings held where individuals are encouraged to make suggestions and comment on the daily operations of Sheridan.
