Braye Park wing is a dementia specific facility with-in The Lodge and was constructed in 2001 to complement the low care facility. It was designed to be an energy efficient building with many environmentally friendly features including natural air flow to complement air-conditioned common areas, high ceilings, natural lighting, and access to the Braye Park gardens for residents to enjoy from the common areas. The Braye Park suites (all single rooms) consists of 12 dementia specific rooms, each with a private ensuite. All rooms undergo a routine maintenance program including the walls, windows, doors, floors, ceilings and fittings and are in excellent condition.
