Tailem Bend is a country township located 100 kilometres south-east of Adelaide. It is located on the cliffs above the east (left) bank of the River. The town now features the prestigious The Bend Motorsport Park. Major industries in the area include pig farming, dairying, grain growing, hay exporting and olives. Tailem Bend is also serviced by the Tailem Bend Ferry, a cable ferry which operates across the Murray River to Jervois.
