Room description (as supplied):
All 100 rooms within the residential facility open onto a communal verandah. Adjoining rooms are available for couples. Rooms in this facility typically range between 18-22 square metres with an adjoining ensuite of 5-7 square metres. All single bedrooms rooms include a kitchenette (low care rooms only) and built-in robes and are furnished with an electric high/low bed in each room. Heater, lights and ceiling fans, telephone and television point are located in each room. Floors are either carpeted or covered with a cushioned, non-slip vinyl. Ensuites include shower, vanity unit, toilet and grab rails, and are tiled. A nurse call device is located in both the bedroom and ensuite bathroom for residents' safety. All rooms have fire sprinklers.

Southern Cross St Joseph's Apartments is a residential aged care facility located in an established residential area just minutes south of Tweed Heads. The facility is within a level 300m walk of a major shopping centre and local bus stops.

Our gardens are well-maintained and peaceful providing perfect spaces for relaxation and contemplation.
