Rainbow Nursing Home is an attractive ground level facility containing ten single occupancy units with a covered entry. The décor is modern and bright with specially selected carpets, soft furnishings and wall colours. Residents are encouraged to bring items such as photographs and personal mementos to decorate their rooms which contain a bed specific to the needs of the resident, built in wardrobe, display shelves chair and dressing table with mirror, en suite, television points and excellent ducted heating and cooling systems. We are passionate about respecting the privacy, dignity and safety of our residents while maintaining a home filled with the highest degree of loving compassionate care and encouraging the independence of each resident. Specialist equipment is available to ensure these values are maintained. The spacious rooms have views of the delightful gardens which instil a peaceful ambience.

Rainbow Nursing Home is situated within the West Wimmera Health Service – Rainbow Hospital and is a ten-bed ground level facility with easy access via covered entrance at the front of the building. Each unit has easy access to enclosed secure gardens for residents to enjoy. Each room is furnished and residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with belongings and mementos of their life. Caring for Residents is the first concern at Rainbow Nursing Home, ensuring the residents’ stay here is safe, comfortable and secure and providing a warm and friendly atmosphere which are undoubtedly important factors in helping residents to overcome the anxieties of living away from their loved ones. Residents’ self-esteem, privacy and freedom of choice are valued. Our philosophy is to ensure and enable all residents to live their life with dignity and comfort whilst encouraging them to pursue their own concept of a happy rich and fulfilling life.
