Southwood Nursing Home is a dementia-specific nursing home for 83 residents. There are 5 cottages each with 15 residents, and one 8 person cottage dedicated to older people with dementia whose behaviours are severe and challenging to support. All of Southwood's dementia-specific cottages are specially designed to provide both an advanced dementia-care environment and a safe, homelike environment.
Southwood is one of several residential care services located in the Hammondville Village campus in Sydney's Southwest.
