Opening March 2021 and set in leafy garden surrounds, Berengarra - an Aboriginal word for land around Kew - offers an innovative approach to public residential aged care that values and preserves a person's dignity, independence and identity.
Berengarra offers 90 contemporary single rooms with en-suites, across 3 floors. There are also 12 sets of adjoining rooms to accommodate couples, siblings or friends who want to stay near each other. Each floor is smartly zoned into private wings of no more than 8 bedrooms to create a welcoming sense of community among residents.
Berengarra is part of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne's Residential Services - a leading and trusted provider of aged care, in partnership with the Victorian Government. St Vincent's and its residential facilities share a rich history or compassionate care and support through our founders, the Sisters of Charity.
