Introducing ACH Group’s first purpose-built small household care home. Healthia is the first care home in Australia to implement the innovative US-founded Green House Project model of care, creating residential care with a difference. Healthia’s village-like setting features eight single-story houses, each home to 12 residents. At the heart of each home is a light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living space; it’s a welcoming area for residents to relax and spend time with family and friends. Private bedrooms with ensuite, lead to landscaped gardens shared by the household. The small household design and the Green House Project care model enhances the ability to provide person-directed care and living for residents, where they determine their daily routine, supported by 24/7 care from qualified staff. The home environment promotes relationships, independence and choice for residents, allowing them to enjoy the things they love to do in a supported environment. Healthia is more than just care; it’s a community and a new age of aged care.
