Brightwater The Cove is a welcoming aged care home set in the beautiful surroundings of Mariner's Cove in Dudley Park, within the greater Mandurah area. The Cove provides high quality care for people with a range of needs, including those with advanced dementia and high care needs. Its 131 private rooms span seven individual houses, each with an inviting, homely feel, its own living room, kitchen and dining room. Expansive courtyard gardens and gazebo areas surround each house, giving residents plenty of space to relax outdoors. Each private room has its own ensuite, an adjustable electric bed with hotel quality linen, generous built-in storage, and individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning, with many rooms overlooking the courtyards and gardens. Amenities include a large Clubhouse, hairdressing salon, small library and physio gym. The home was renovated in 2020 to create a brighter, more contemporary and calmer environment. Meals are prepared by the on-site catering team, with a regularly changing menu of tasty, nutritious favourites, all tested and approved by dietitians and speech pathologists to cater for all diet textures, including those with dysphagia. An in-house team of Brightwater allied health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a podiatrist and social workers, works together to identify and deliver the support each resident needs. Residents are encouraged to join a range of social activities or simply enjoy the sunshine
