Construction period of rooms vary from 1990 to less than 12 months. All rooms are repainted and new flooring added as and when needed prior to new occupancy. Rooms are able to be repainted (at the cost of the incoming resident) in colours other than that of Finley Regional Care's standard colour pallet. Rooms have built in robes, reverse cycle air-conditioning, television and are furnished with a high/low bed, chair/recliner, bedside table and chest of drawers. Flooring in rooms vary from either carpet or timber look vinyl planks. Window furnishings consist of blinds and curtains. Incoming residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with loved and cherished items from home such as paintings, pictures and special items of furniture. It is noted that approximately 65% of resident rooms are single rooms with single ensuites. However residents will be charged for a single room with shared ensuite price to negate the need for management and residents having to renegotiate pricin
