Fronditha Care Thornbury is a 120-bed residential aged care facility in the heart of Melbourne's inner north. Each floor has two comfortable lounge areas, a tavern-style dining room, and an activities room, and a dedicated lifestyle team runs programs tailored to residents' interests. Residents enjoy an outdoor area with a well-manicured garden of Mediterranean trees, a small Orthodox chapel, and a large BBQ, entertainment and relaxation area. Raised garden beds invite residents to tend their own plants, and weekly bus outings offer a chance to get out and about. Services include a hair and beauty salon, a chapel, 24/7 nurses, palliative care, and a Memory Support Unit, along with couples rooms and courtyards.
