Chelsea Lodge is a boutique 22 bed residential aged care service located in Winchelsea, a country town by the Barwon River just 25 minutes from both Geelong and Colac on the Princes Highway, and 1 hour 20 minutes from Melbourne. Operated by Hesse Rural Health, Chelsea Lodge is co-located with the Winchelsea Hospital. The 21 ensuited rooms are private, with carpet flooring and a single bed. Each private, carpeted room has a single bed and an ensuite. Large windows look out onto beautifully kept gardens and paddocks with farm animals including sheep and alpacas. Ample storage and display shelving is available. The bathroom amenities include a toilet, walk in shower, basin, cabinet and sensor lighting. Private telephones are available for each room on request, with a one off setup fee and call costs only.
