Grand Cedar Aged Care is an Australian Government accredited home in the leafy suburb of Ashwood, about 14km south of Melbourne CBD. We are proud of the close-knit community we foster within the home, and our focus on social connections makes Grand Cedar a special place to live. Built on a strong foundation of trust and open communication, we work closely with residents and their families. Our residents enjoy private single rooms with ensuites, with an average room size of 26 sqm. Every room includes an adjustable bed with a pressure-relieving mattress, individual air conditioning and heating controls, and a flat-screen LED television. Optional adjoining rooms are available for couples, along with optional wireless internet and a personal telephone. Grand Cedar is close to local shops, parks, a golf club, croquet facilities and a senior citizens hall, and we maintain connections with the Lions Club of Ashwood-Mount Waverley and local parishes. Holmesglen and Jordanville railway stations are nearby, making visits easy for friends and family, and there is plenty of on-site parking for convenient access.
