Elizabeth Lodge is a residential aged care home in Rushcutters Bay with a welcoming and social community. Centrally located in the heart of the city, the home makes it easy to walk to nearby cafes, shops and local parks, and residents enjoy the familiar view of Sydney from their windows. The dedicated care team provides personalised care, supported by resident-led activities that enhance overall wellbeing and holistic care. Residents meet with the Lifestyle Coordinator to plan activities for the month ahead, so the program reflects what residents want to do, such as group bus trips to exhibitions. Mealtimes in the dining room are a highlight, with a vibrant atmosphere, a variety of freshly prepared options each day, and the choice to enjoy a glass of wine with friends. Residents are also welcome to join a food focus group to help shape the menu. Anglicare has followed the Rhythm of Life® model for person-centred care since 2012. Spiritual and emotional support is available through a Chaplain and Pastoral Carer throughout each person's care journey.
