Grace Munro Centre is nestled on the banks of the Gwydir River in Bundarra, in the peaceful North West of New South Wales. The centre offers 11 spacious, well-appointed rooms, each with a private ensuite and large windows, and air conditioning throughout for comfort on cool winter days. Residents enjoy comfortable shared spaces including the dining and sitting room, library, verandah and a sheltered courtyard, as well as raised garden beds where they can plant vegetables. Staffed 24/7 by a dedicated and highly skilled team, the centre takes a person-centred approach, with care and services tailored to each individual to help maintain independence and dignity. An easy-to-use nurse call system with personal pendants is available, a Registered Nurse is available on weekdays, and access to a podiatrist, visiting Medical Officer and allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, dietitians and speech pathologists is arranged as required. Diverse activities and programs offer a caring, social and supportive environment, and the centre provides ageing in place and palliative care, making it a perfect place to call home.
