Wallsend Aged Care Facility (WACF) is an accredited nursing home with 98 beds. There are 74 general aged care beds and a 24 secure bed unit. WACF provides care for younger persons with high clinical needs and challenging behaviours. WACF is managed by the Ministry of Health, through Hunter New England Health District (HNELHD).
