Rooms The rooms are generously proportioned with an average size of 20.7 square metres and are located off wide central corridors in each wing of the facility. Each room is designed for single occupancy with space for sleeping, sitting and dining and has a private ensuite bath-room. Residents are encouraged to bring in their own furnishings to make their room a familiar “home away from home”. A modern electronically adjustable single bed and bedside table is provided for the sleeping area. There is a built-in floor to ceiling double door wardrobe with internal drawers, shelving and hanging space for clothes and ample storage for other effects. In the sitting area there is a flexible space for a small sofa and one or two lounge chairs, a coffee table, bookshelf and TV, and the dining area is designed to accommodate a one metre square table so that residents can entertain friends and family in the room. There is a small kitchenette with a sink, storage units including a lockable cupboard
