Close to the Esperance Health Care Campus and just three blocks back from The Esplanade, the home sits in a pleasant garden setting that helps older people stay close to their family, friends and community. The home offers 104 single rooms with ensuites, enabled dementia care, communal spaces including dining rooms, lounge areas and a large activity room, and spacious outdoor areas. A compassionate and respectful team supports residents to continue pursuing their own interests, backed by individualised clinical care and a person-centred approach. Clinical care includes 24/7 nursing, regular clinical assessments, medication management, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, podiatry, speech pathology as required, and palliative care. Lifestyle offerings include therapy and group activities, group and individual exercise programs, resident-supported outings, a hair salon, and pastoral and spiritual care. Originally opened in the 1980s after two decades of fundraising by the community, the home has continued to grow, and in 2026 it transitioned to Juniper, securing the future of quality aged care services for the region.
